Lee Bowyer and Wally Downes have both been shortlisted for March’s League One Manager of the Month award – but face competition from a boss who has South London connections.
Bowyer’s Charlton Athletic side went through the month unbeaten in their five matches and banked 11 points.
Downes has revitalised the Dons and they won four of their six games – picking up 13 points to majorly boost their hopes of staying in the division.
Former Addicks manager Karl Robinson is also in contention. His Oxford United side matched Wimbledon’s return from the same amount of matches.
But all three could well be pipped by Mick Harford, with Luton Town the runaway leaders and taking 14 points from an unbeaten six-game sequence during the month.
