Charlton Athletic duo one yellow card away from two-game ban

George Dobson and Lloyd Jones are walking are disciplinary tightrope after the duo picked up their ninth yellow cards of the season in the 3-3 draw at Bolton on Saturday.

Defender Jones, who scored in the 40th minute to put the Addicks 2-1 up at the Toughsheet Stadium, was booked early on after 27 minutes.

Captain Dobson was booked in the 49th minute and was replaced by Panutche Camara with 17 minutes of normal time remaining.

The 26-year-old has made 31 outings in League One this season.

The pair would need to avoid picking up their 10th yellow card of the season in the next four games – with the cut-off after the 37th game of the season – or they will be handed a two-game ban.

Nathan Jones’ side host Portsmouth on Saturday, then head up to Derby Couty the following Tuesday.
