Charlton Athletic striker makes Dulwich Hamlet loan switch

Dulwich Hamlet manager Paul Barnes has added Charlton Athletic’s Dylan Gavin to his squad.

The 20-year-old striker has joined the National League South side on a month-long deal.

Gavin has made two other temporary moves this season, also spending time with Tonbridge Angels and Welling United.

He could be set to make his Hamlet debut tonight at Worthing.

Dulwich are still in danger of dropping into the bottom four after a poor run of form.

Hamlet’s signing statement said: “The young forward is well-known to the coaching staff, with assistant manager Daniel Gill also a youth team coach at the Addicks, working with Gavin.

“The forward has been with Charlton since 2020 after moving from his native Republic of Ireland, where he was a youngster with the likes of Athlone Town, winning a League of Ireland championship at U15 level.”

Charlton announced earlier today that Karoy Anderson had extended his loan at Aldershot Town.

The midfielder, 18, has made five appearances in the National League and will stay until March 18.
