Charlton Athletic v Crewe Alexandra team news: Elliot Lee on bench as Nigel Adkins makes one change
BY LOUIS MENDEZ
New arrival Elliot Lee will start from the bench as Nigel Adkins makes just one change for today’s clash with Crewe Alexandra.
Conor Washington returns to the starting 11 with midfielder George Dobson missing out completely as Adkins looks to have tweaked his formation.
The Northern Irish international striker is expected to operate just behind Jayden Stockley as the Addicks go in search of their first win of the season.
Lee, who joined the club on a season-long loan from Luton Town this week, follows in the footsteps of his father Robert who played over 300 appearances for the club in the 1980s and 90s.
Sean Clare returns to the squad after an Achilles problem.
Charlton: MacGillivray, Gunter, Inniss, Famewo, Matthews, Kirk, Morgan, Watson, Jaiyesimi, Washington, Stockley. Subs: Harness, Pearce, Lee, Blackett-Taylor, Davison, Clare, Elerewe.
