Charlton Athletic v Oxford United team line-ups: Alfie May misses out as Tyreece Campbell handed start
Charlton Athletic are missing top scorer Alfie May for today’s League One home game against Oxford United.
The summer signing from Cheltenham scored 30 goals in 2023 – the most of any player in England’s top four divisions – but is not fit to feature for the Addicks’ first match of the new year.
Charlton head coach Michael Appleton revealed after the defeat to Bristol Rovers last time out that May was struggling with a back niggle.
Tyreece Campbell comes into the starting line-up for May.
