Charlton have no chief executive…and financial boss is heading out Valley exit door too
David Joyes is stepping down from his role as Charlton Athletic chief financial officer to join Middlesbrough.
The Addicks have already seen chief executive Katrien Meire leave at the end of last month, taking up the same role at Sheffield Wednesday.
But Meire is not the only high-ranking member of staff to make a switch to the Championship. Joyes will also be on his way soon as he takes on a role with Boro.
Joyes has been with Charlton since September 2011.
i remember being a kid and putting the valley back together..not to mention it was the fans who also raised cash towards our return. what gives these people the right to take our community club. and leave it in a worse state than when they bought it.
now there gonna sell it, a division lower, with no staff or backing, to someother investor with ideas above his station. The supporters dont matter and we are the club!
I have been a Charlton supporter since 1947,I have seen the club in bad times and some very good times ( The Sam Bartram era etc:)but what is happening now is disgracefull,get rid of the top management and get someone in to run the club as a long term investment and I agree with Dean. One of the times that I can remember was when Charlton beat Manchester United 7 1,bring back some of the old days
