Charlton winger Charlie Kirk on Blackpool’s transfer shortlist – as Forest pushing for Bowler
Blackpool have emerged as contenders to sign Charlton Athletic winger Charlie Kirk.
The South London Press had been told recently that the 24-year-old, who has struggled to hold down regular game time in SE7, was the subject of interest.
And the Blackpool Gazette have reported the Seasiders could be in the market for Kirk if they sell Josh Bowler to Nottingham Forest.
Charlton signed Kirk in the summer after they triggered a £500,000 release clause in his Crewe contract.
The Addicks had failed to conclude a deal for the wideman in the January transfer window but pushed through the switch in the middle of August.
Kirk has made five starts in League One this season for Charlton and has played just 27 minutes in that competition since the start of December.
The Addicks are thought to be ready to listen to offers provided they can strengthen their squad.
Charlton made Chuks Aneke their first addition of the January transfer window and are also targeting an attacking midfielder to ease some of the workload on Elliot Lee and Alex Gilbey.
