Chelsea v Crystal Palace starting line-ups: Attacker returns to the first 11

Eberechi Eze has been named in the starting line-up by Roy Hodgson for the first time since suffering ankle ligament damage in Crystal Palaces’ 2-1 defeat at Luton Town.

The 25-year-old Greenwich-born attacker has made substitute in recent outings against Manchester City and Brighton, but is now fit enough to return to the starting 11.

He and Michael Olise are starting only their second Premier League game of the season.

Odsonne Edouard and Sam Johnstone are still missing for the Eagles due to injury.

Jordan Ayew scored Palace’s goal in their 1-1 draw with Brighton last time out.

Palace: Henderson, Clyne, Andersen, Guehi, Mitchell, Richards, Lerma, Eze, Olise, Mateta, Ayew.

Subs: Matthews, Adaramola, Tomkins, Schlupp, Hughes, Franca, Ahamada, Ozoh Riedewald.

Chelsea: Petrovic, Diasi, Badiashile, Mudryk, Jackson, Nkunku, Gallagher, Caicedo, Colwill, Gusto, Maatsen.
