Crystal Palace boss provides injury news ahead of Man City clash – Two key defenders available for Premier League clash
Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has confirmed that defensive duo Chris Richards and Maxence Lacroix will be available for tomorrow’s Premier League outing at Manchester City.
USA centre-back Richards missed the last two matches against Southampton and Brighton due to a calf problem.
Lacroix was taken off in the 90th minute at Selhurst Park on Saturday and replaced by Joel Ward after going off following a clash with Brighton striker Joao Pedro.
Glasner had used all three substitution slots when the French defender needed to come off, but Palace were granted a concussion slot to make the change.
But the Austrian manager has confirmed he is fit to play.
“Chris has been training since Wednesday – he has no problems anymore,” said Glasner.
“He will be available.
“It is the same, for Maxence – he is available. He trained with us today. We followed all the rules and he is available for tomorrow.
“The whole week we hoped it would go this way and fortunately it has. We lose Marc Guehi and Eddie Nketiah because they are banned.
“Romain Esse and Matt Turner are both feeling unwell, so they will stay at home for this one. But they both should be available for the Newcastle game next Wednesday.
“All the others are fit and it’s positive for us.”
