Crystal Palace striker wins Premier League 2 Player of the Month

Crystal Palace striker Ademola Ola-Adebomi has won the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for November 2023.

The 20-year-old has 13 goals and two assists to his name in all competitions and scored three goals in November.

Lewisham-raised Ola-Adebomi has been named in the senior matchday squad against Manchester United and Nottingham Forest in the Premier League this season.

He also netted in the EFL Trophy defeat at Stevenage in November.

He told PalaceTV: “I mean, it’s crazy to be honest. I was surprised, you could say, because it’s been a good month.

“I scored three against Leeds, two against Birmingham, and then one against Stevenage. So all of those games as well were all different games, in different competitions, but overall it’s just good to contribute for the team and that’s what makes me happy.”

“It’s been good to be in and amongst the goals and getting assists this season. I’m just, as I said, happy to contribute and just do well for the team. I’m just trying to win as many games as possible and just play well for the team.”

Fellow Eagles midfielder Jack Wells-Morrison was also up for the award, along with Man United’s Joe Hugill and Brighton forward Luca Barrington.

Nominees were selected by the Premier League Football Development Panel.
