Crystal Palace v Sheffield United team line-ups – New summer signing starts

Tyrick Mitchell has been named in Crystal Palace’s starting line-up for their opening day Premier League clash against Sheffield United.

New summer signing Jefferson Lerma – who joined on a free transfer from Bournemouth – also starts his first competitive game for the Eagles.

The South Londoners picked up a 2-0 win over Lyon in their final pre-season clash.

Vicente Guaita has been left out of the matchday squad after refusing to play for Crystal Palace over pre-season.

Youngsters Jesurun Rak-Sakyi and Johm-Kymani Gordon are both named on the bench for the Eagles.

Crystal Palace starting 11: Johnstone, Ward, Andersen, Guehi, Mitchell, Lerma, Doucoure, Eze, Schlupp, Edouard, Ayew.

Sheffield United starting 11: Foderingham, Baldock, Lowe, Basham, Traore, Egan, Ahmedhodzic, Norwood, Robinson, Osborn, Osula.
