Crystal Palace young forward nominated for Premier League 2 Player of the Month

Crystal Palace striker Ademola Ola-Adebomi has been nominated for Premier League 2 Player of the Month.

The forward has scored six times and picked up two assists in nine games for Darren Powell’s side this season.

Ola-Adebomi was named in the senior squad for the first time this season, featuring on the bench under Roy Hodgson in the 3-0 EFL Cup defeat at Manchester United. He was also selected in the former England manager’s matchday squad for the 1-0 Premier League win at United and the goalless draw against Nottingham Forest.

The 20-year-old netted three times in October, scoring a double in the 3-0 win over West Brom.

Also in the running for the October award are Tawanda Chirewa, Lewis Koumas, Mateusz Musialowski, Callum Marshall, Charlie Wellens, Jamie Donley and Yago Santiago.
