Details confirmed for Crystal Palace’s FA Cup clash

Crystal Palace’s FA Cup semi-final against Aston Villa will take place on April 26.

The game will kick-off at 5:15PM on the Saturday, with the match being broadcasted live in the United Kingdom on the BBC.

Oliver Glasner’s side have seen off Stockport, Doncaster, Millwall and Fulham to reach the last four.

Nottingham Forest will take on Manchester City in the other semi-final.

“We have a lot to achieve in the Premier League,” said Glasner.

“I can’t say the FA Cup is ‘the big goal’. Of course, we wanted to win today against Fulham.

“We want to win every game. It doesn’t always work, but I can’t and won’t accept from my side to play a game and say: ‘If we lose it, it’s okay.’

“In the end, we can lose it because it’s sports, but our approach entering the pitch must be:

‘We give our best to win this game.’

“This is what we have to demand from each other. We give our best. It doesn’t mean we always perform at our best, but it’s always about trying to win every single game.

“Now we have to keep our momentum and spirit at the best level for the next two months.

“Then it is time to relax.”
