Dons boss Johnnie Jackson up for League Two award

AFC Wimbledon manager Johnnie Jackson has been nominated for the League Two Manager of the Month award.

The former Charlton and Colchester midfielder guided his side to eight points over January, with wins over Newport and Tranmere. 

They also picked up draws against Crewe and Milton Keynes.

The Dons are fourth in the League Two table and aiming to end their three-year spell in the fourth tier.

Jackson is up against Swindon’s Ian Holloway, Bradford’s Graham Alexander and Doncaster’s Grant McCann.

The winner will be announced on Friday, February 7.

The Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel comprises former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
