Dulwich Hamlet’s new signing has been a regular at their games before making switch to National South outfit

Dulwich Hamlet have signed Anthony Cook – with boss Gavin Rose revealing the former Cardiff City, Dagenham & Redbridge and Braintree Town man is a fan of the South London club.
The 28-year-old winger will join the National South new boys on July 1 when his contract with Ebbsfleet United is up.
“He has played Conference South and Conference for the best part of nine or 10 years,” said Rose.
“He has been a constant at that level and the teams he has played for have always been there or thereabouts in the play-offs.
“Anthony brings a wealth of experience and is still young enough to kick on with us.
“He is a local lad and it sounds weird but he is a bit of a Dulwich supporter. He comes to all the games when he is not playing. He doesn’t really announce himself, we see him after matches.
“We have always watched him. Now we are playing at a level which matches his level, as a minimum, and he wants to come over and play for us.”
Rose is expecting four more of his squad to re-sign after 10 recently confirmed their returns to Hamlet for the 2018-19 campaign – Preston Edwards, Quade Taylor, Michael Chambers, Michael Onovwigun, Nathan Green, Ashley Carew, Sanchez Ming, Nyren Clunis, Dipo Akinyemi and Nathan Ferguson.
Cook is the second new addition after the club secured Billericay Town midfielder Byron Lawrence.
“I’ll probably sign another three,” said Rose. “They are deals that are near enough sorted out between us and the players.”
