Exclusive: Charlton Athletic offer highly-rated youngster a new contract
BY RICHARD CAWLEY
Charlton have also offered a new contract to Ashley Maynard-Brewer.
The Australian keeper, 21, is highly rated by Bowyer and is providing back up to Ben Amos.
“Hopefully he’ll sign that,” said the Charlton manager. “It’s a good, long contract that we’ve offered him.
“We want him to be here and part of the club. We think highly of him.”
Maynard-Brewer’s two first-team appearances this season have come in the EFL Trophy.
He has previously had loans with Dulwich Hamlet, Dover Athletic, Hampton & Richmond and Chelmsford City.
Maynard-Brewer joined Charlton from hometown club Joondalup in August 2015.
