Former AFC Wimbledon loanee striker makes League One permanent move
Aaron Pressley has joined League One side Stevenage on a permanent deal from Brentford B.
Stevenage have agreed an undisclosed fee with the Premier League side for the Scottish forward.
He spent the 2021-22 season on loan at Plough Lane, featuring 27 times in all competitions and scoring four goals.
Pressley, who had a loan stint at Accrington Stanley last season, has penned a two-year deal at the Lamex Stadium.
Stevenage boss Steve Evans said: “Aaron is a player I have tried to sign on a few occasions. My chairman has invested in what I regard as an outstanding young talent.
“My eyes are my number one judge, but I did make a personal call to one of my former pupils, someone who trained with Aaron every day. It was Ivan Toney who gave him a hugely positive reference.
“Aaron is desperate to do well. I have no doubt we are a stepping stone to much greater things for the boy. He has a lot of the attributes I witnessed in the likes of Ivan Toney, Chris Wood and Jack Marriott.”
