Former Charlton striker joins Cardiff City
Former Charlton Athletic striker Karlan Grant has joined Cardiff City on loan from Championship rivals West Brom.
The 25-year-old came through Charlton’s academy and made 98 appearances in all competitions for the Addicks.
He scored 21 goals and picked up nine assists during his time at The Valley.
Grant left Charlton and joined Huddersfield Town in 2019.
Cardiff have also signed Aaron Ramsey, Yakou Meite, Ike Ugbo and Dimitrios Goutas this summer.
“Karlan will bring goals, speed and work rate to this team. He works hard on the pitch, not just offensively but in defence as well,” Cardiff boss Erol Bulut said.
“Now, we have a few players like Karlan who can play in different positions. He can play as a winger, but we can also use him as a striker and a second striker.
“I am very excited and happy that we have these attacking players. All of them are good goalscorers and playmakers who can make assists.
“They can win games and change the table by getting results for us.”
