Fulham ‘most likely’ to secure Liverpool winger Harry Wilson

Fulham are reportedly the ‘likeliest’ club to sign Liverpool winger Harry Wilson on a permanent basis this summer.

Goal.com say that the Reds are moving on some of the squad fringe players and that the 24-year-old, who has spent time on loan at a number of Championship teams, is expected to move on before the transfer window closes.

They add that Wilson has accepted he needs to quit Liverpool to really kick his career on.

But the website adds that while personal terms would not be an issue, the transfer fee of around £15million might be too rich for the west Londoners.

Liverpool rejected a deal worth £12m from Burnley last summer.

Wilson played 38 times, and netted seven times, while on loan at Cardiff City last season. He also appeared for Wales’ in this summer’s European Championships, and was shown a straight red card as they crashed out at the hands of Denmark in their last-16 tie.
