Joao Felix offered another Premier League switch after Chelsea snub

Joao Felix has been offered to Newcastle after new Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino oped against keeping the Portuguese attacker.

The Atletico Madrid loanee has spent the second half of the season on loan at Stamford Bridge, making 16 appearances and scoring four goals.

Newcastle reached the Champions League for the first time since the 2002-03 campaign after they finished fourth in the Premier League table.

The 23-year-old is out of favour at the Wanda Metropolitano after falling out with manager Diego Simeone.

Eddie Howe, when asked about his side’s summer plans, said: “We’re not huge players of wages in the Premier League, so the big clubs will all dwarf us in terms of that. That makes it hard to attract the very, very best players on the market.”
