Luton-Millwall switched to day of World Cup final after Sky Sports select it for TV coverage

Millwall’s Championship fixture against Luton Town has been rescheduled and will now be played on Sunday, December 18 (12:30pm kick-off).

The Lions’ trip to Kenilworth Road has been selected for Sky Sports TV coverage.

This decision will irritate a large number of supporters because it will clash with the World Cup final, which will kick-off at 3pm.

The South London club also have an early kick-off against Sunderland at the start of December – which is a rearranged game that was postponed because of Queen Elizabeth II’s passing.

Millwall’s last game before the World Cup break is on Saturday, November 12 when they take on Preston North End at Deepdale.
