Millwall defender Toppaloj joins Bromley on permanent basis

Millwall youngster Besart Toppaloj has joined Bromley on a permanent basis.

He is the second Lions player on the fringes of Gary Rowett’s squad to seal their exit with defender Hayden Muller recently signing for Ireland Premier Division outfit Dundalk.

Toppaloj, who can play in central defence and on the left side of midfield, never made a senior appearance for the Lions.

He joined Bromley on loan towards the end of December and scored in a 4-1 win over Yeovil Town on January 14.

Toppaloj started on Crystal Palace’s books and signed for Millwall almost instantly after being released by the Eagles at U16 level.

He qualifies to play for Kosovo through his parents.
