Millwall head of youth recruitment hit with FA misconduct charge
Millwall head of youth recruitment Barry Dunn has been charged by the FA with misconduct.
Dunn has been charged with an ‘aggravated breach’ of FA rule E3.1.
“It is suggested he interacted with a social media post that was insulting and/or indecent and/or improper,” said the FA in a statement.
“It’s further alleged this activity constitutes an ‘aggravated breach’ which is defined in FA Rule E3.2 as the post included a reference – whether express or implied – to religion or belief.”
Dunn has until June 21 to respond.
A statement from a Millwall spokesperson said: “The club notes the FA’s decision to charge a member of staff with misconduct in relation to social media activity.
“The person in question remains suspended from the club and there can be no further comment while the investigation is ongoing, other than to strongly reiterate Millwall’s zero-tolerance policy against discrimination of any kind.”
