Millwall-Leeds match gets date and time switch after being selected for TV coverage

Millwall’s home game against Leeds United has been selected for TV coverage.

The match had been due to take place on September 16 but will shift to the following day with a midday kick off.

The Lions say that ticket details for the fixture will be announced “in due course”.

The Leeds United fixtures are two of the most eagerly-anticipated with a firm rivalry between the two clubs.

Millwall won the last meeting in SE16 in October 2019, a Jed Wallace penalty and Tom Bradshaw goal earning a 2-1 victory.

Millwall have a loyal fan base and make the Den a unique atmosphere. The more matches on TV will reduce the crowd and the atmosphere will disappear.
Who is more important, the fans or TV?
