Millwall striker misses out on Scotland Euro 2024 squad

Millwall striker Kevin Nisbet has been left out of Steve Clarke’s Scotland squad for Euro 2024.

Clarke has named an initial 28-man squad for the tournament in Germany, with the ex-West Brom boss cutting two players for the final team.

Southampton’s Che Adams, Liverpool’s Ben Doak, QPR’s Lyndon Dykes, Celtic’s James Forrest and Hearts’ Lawrence Shankland all selected in the forward options.

Nisbet has 10 Scotland appearances to his name and scored in the 2-2 draw with the Netherlands in February 2021.

The striker has only been called up to the Tartan Army once since joining the Lions last summer from Scottish Premiership side Hibernian.

Nisbet has five Championship goals in 27 outings to his name this season.

Scotland are in Group A alongside Germany, Hungary and Switzerland.
