Millwall suffer yet another injury blow as Liverpool loanee forced off
Millwall’s injury headaches have deepened with Calum Scanlon suffering an injury in today’s Championship match at Luton Town.
The Liverpool loanee started at Kenilworth Road but went down with what appeared to be a hamstring injury in the first half.
Scanlon received treatment but was helped off the pitch by medical staff with Aaron Connolly coming on to replace him.
Millwall have a number of first-teamers sidelined with both Ryan Leonard and Danny McNamara both injured in the second period of the midweek 2-2 draw against Cardiff City.
McNamara looks set to miss the remainder of the campaign due to a serious knee injury which will require surgery.
Scanlon scored the opening goal in the fixture against Cardiff.
He was signed from the Reds at the end of the summer transfer window.
