Millwall caretaker manager Adam Barrett has made two changes to his side for tonight’s home game against Blackburn Rovers.
Billy Mitchell and Ryan Longman come into the starting line-up in place of Luton Town loanee Allan Campbell and Murray Wallace.
It is Lions academy product Mitchell’s first start since the 3-0 home defeat to Leeds United on September 17.
Hull City loan signing Longman makes his fifth start for Millwall. He has played just 21 minutes of football before the start of this month.
The Lions have won just one of their last 15 league meetings against Blackburn – losing nine and drawing five. And the last meeting was particularly painful – a 4-3 loss at The Den on the final day of last season which snuffed out the South London club’s hopes of reaching the play-offs.
Millwall are seeking an improvement in their home form as they have picked up seven points in their last eight fixtures in SE16.
The Lions have lost seven home league matches in 2023 and they last time they had more reverses than that was 11 in 2015.
