Millwall’s Ra’ees Bangura-Williams named in England’s Elite League squad for first time

Millwall winger Ra’ees Bangura-Williams has been called up to England’s Elite League squad for the first time.

The ex-Tooting & Mitcham youngster has been added to Ben Futcher’s squad for games against Portugal and Switzerland this month.

Bangura-Williams has replaced Leicester City’s Will Alves, who is on loan at Championship side Cardiff.

He will link up with former Millwall attacker and now Crystal Palace player Romain Esse.

Esse joined Palace in January in a £14.5million deal.

Bangura-Williams has made 13 first-team appearances this season and scored on his debut in the FA Cup win over Dagenham & Redbridge.
