Neil Harris reckons Murray Wallace is a deserving unsung hero for Millwall – after the summer signing from Scunthorpe United once again popped up with an FA Cup winner.

The Scottish defender netted the winner in the fourth round tie against Everton.

And he met Ryan Leonard’s cross from the right to head in an early goal for Millwall which proved conclusive.

Lions boss Neil Harris said: “He’s a wonderful fella and a top, top professional who leaves no stone unturned in the way he leads his life and the way he conducts himself around the training ground.

“He deserves adulation and attention, because he goes about his business quietly at times.”
