Non-league round-up: Bromley and Dulwich Hamlet both start campaigns with losses
Bromley’s 2021-22 National League campaign started with a 4-2 defeat against Dagenham and Redbridge on Saturday.
Byron Webster and Michael Cheek scored the Ravens goals in their first game of the season after last weekend’s opener against Grimsby Town was postponed due to a Covid-19 outbreak in Grimsby’s squad.
Dulwich Hamlet lost 2-0 at home against Dartford in National League South on Saturday. Goals from Josh Hill and Tyrique Hyde gave the visitors all three points.
Hamlet take on Hemel Hempstead Town FC next.


Tooting & Mitcham lost consecutive Isthmian League South Central Division games after falling to a 2-1 home defeat at the hands of Thatcham Town.
Andrew Sesay halved the deficit after Balai Dembele and William Edwards had put Thatcham two up.
Fisher bounced back from their 3-2 defeat to Glebe in midweek to draw 1-1 away to Crowborough Athletic in the SCEFL Premier Division. Courtney Swaby scored their goal.
Lewisham Borough won 3-0 at Meridian VP. All their goals came in the second half – from Bryan Zepo, Michael Amponsah and Ahioseh Davies.
Croydon drew 1-1 with Kent Football United on Saturday. Jason Kaate rescued a point for the Trams five minutes from time.
