Non-league round-up: Kandi sees red but Dulwich Hamlet hold on for point in National League South

Dulwich Hamlet held on for a 2-2 draw at Havant & Waterlooville despite the late sending off of Chike Kandi (pictured).

The South Londoners were twice pegged back by the hosts at Draper Tools Community Stadium, with all the goals scored in the first half.

Danny Mills finished an Andre Blackman cross from close range before Nathan Green stuck away a penalty after Jack Holland was brought down.
Kandi was dismissed in the 82nd minute. Hamlet are three points behind National League South leaders Dartford.

Dulwich head to Plymouth Parkway in the third round of the FA Trophy after a 2-1 win at Brentwood on Saturday. Mills and Tyrone Sterling were on the scoresheet.

Bromley have been drawn at Dover in the FA Trophy. They lost 2-0 at Wrexham on Saturday with former Millwall midfielder Liam Trotter sent off after five minutes.

Cray Wanderers remain in drop danger after a 1-1 draw at Bowers & Pitsea in the Isthmian League Premier Division on Tuesday.

Anthony Cook’s 90th-minute goal earned a share of the spoils for the visitors after Lewis Manor had put them behind just before the interval.

Tooting & Mitcham put their struggles in the Isthmian League South Central Division to one side as they beat Sittingbourne 2-1 in the  second round of the Velocity Trophy in midweek.

Dan Williams’ penalty and an own goal by Emmanuel Dasho put the Terrors in a secure lead with 23 minutes on the clock before Johan Caney-Bryan converted a second-half penalty.

Lewisham Borough were knocked out of the Kent Senior Trophy after a 5-1 extra-time defeat at home against Chatham Town. Kai-Simon Jordan had equalised.
