‘Not for sale’ – Charlton Athletic boss responds to young striker Miles Leaburn’s transfer link to Aston Villa

Charlton Athletic manager Dean Holden says that young striker Miles Leaburn will not be for sale this summer, amid a national newspaper recently linking him with a transfer to Aston Villa.

The 19-year-old frontman, who used to be on Chelsea’s books as a youngster, has scored 12 goals in 36 appearances.

Leaburn is in his first season in men’s football.

Holden told the South London Press: “Miles is not for sale.

“Miles is a fantastic young player who has got lots to learn still. He’s somebody I love working with. It’s just speculation.”
