Olufela Olomola bags a brace as Bromley beat Oxford City 3-1
BY MYLES THORNTON
Bromley moved up to fourth in the National League after beating Oxford City 3-1 at Hayes Lane.
Olufela Olomola put the Ravens ahead seven minutes in when Millwall academy product Besart Topalloj played it through to the former Wealdstone forward, who calmly slotted it into the back of the net.
Michael Cheek put the ball in the back of the net three minutes later, but the linesman raised his flag.
Josh Parker equalised for Oxford City when they were awarded in the 20th minute.
Olomola grabbed his second goal of the day with 25 minutes left to play. Michael Cheek held the ball up before playing the goal scorer through to slot beyond Chris Haigh.
Louis Dennis then added a third for Bromley in stoppage time, getting a goal on his return from injury.
Bromley host Dorking Wanderers tomorrow and are nine points behind current league leaders Chesterfield.
