QPR complete deal for Chelsea attacker who is ruled out for the rest of the season

Chelsea attacker Harvey Vale has joined Queens Park Rangers for an undisclosed fee.

The west Londoners confirmed on deadline day that the 21-year-old had penned a long-term contract with the club.

Vale, who had been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia before, only made one appearance this season for the Blues.

Marti Cifuentes’ side confirmed that Vale is currently sidelined through injury and will not be available to play this season.

“I am buzzing,” Vale said.

“As soon as I heard QPR were interested I wanted to get to know more. I am really excited and so happy it got over the line.”

CEO Christian Nourry added: “We are delighted that Harvey has chosen to make the next step in his career at Queens Park Rangers.

“His engine, high technical quality and vision, as well as his leadership qualities, make him an exciting signing for the football club.”
