Rochdale v Charlton Athletic team news: Krystian Bielik returns but Darren Pratley expected to continue in defence
Krystian Bielik returns to the starting line-up as Charlton prepare to take on Rochdale at Spotland this afternoon.
The Arsenal-loanee is expected to take a place in the Addicks midfield, with makeshift centre-half Darren Pratley continuing to partner captain Jason Pearce in the heart of defence.
Ben Reeves drops out of the midfield and onto the bench, as does Tariqe Fosu. Jamie Ward comes back in to Lee Bowyer’s XI – the only other change the Addicks boss makes from the 1-1 draw with Oxford United at The Valley on Tuesday evening.
Striker Igor Vetokele has recovered from a minor groin injury and take a place amongst the substitutes.
Charlton: Steer, Dijksteel, Pratley, Pearce, Solly, Bielik, Cullen, Aribo, Ward, Grant, Taylor. Subs: Phillips, Sarr, Lapslie, Fosu, Ajose, Vetokele, Reeves.
