Tom Bradshaw can make it a hat-trick of hat-tricks on Sky Sports this season
Tom Bradshaw is going for a hat-trick of hat-tricks on Sky Sports this season.
The Millwall striker has enjoyed playing in front of the TV cameras with a treble against Watford at The Den in October.
And Bradshaw, who recently won a recall to the Wales’ national team squad, also walked away with the matchball in the 3-2 victory over Sheffield United in October.
The broadcaster are back at The Den tomorrow for the fixture against Luton Town.
“Another hat-trick will be nice,” said Lions centre-back Cooper, when asked about the number nine’s record in live televised matches this season. “We shouldn’t be expecting any less from Bradders.
“We’ve had two games without a goal, so we need to find a way to break Luton down.
“Hopefully we can come away with a massive three points.”
Millwall head into the Hatters match off the back of a 0-0 draw at West Bromwich Albion, who have won 10 home matches in an unbeaten 12-game run at The Hawthorns.
“We knew their form coming into the game,” said Cooper. “It came off a break, which was good for us – a couple of weeks to rest up. They had the same but were missing a couple of players and we thought that could almost turn against them.
“We defended well. On another day the ball drops to one of our lads in the box and we score a goal.
“We kept probing. For an away performance it was right up there with the away performances we’ve had away from home.
“We just couldn’t find that goal but we showed positive signs. Now we need to back that up on Friday.”
Millwall’s game tomorrow is a Den sellout. They follow up by playing at Hull City on Monday.
“We’ve got seven games to go, we’re fifth in the Championship,” said Cooper. “We have to make the most of it. Hopefully our fans will turn up and we can produce something that will be memorable.”
