Tooting & Mitcham relegated from the Bostik League Premier Division

Tooting & Mitcham have been relegated from the Bostik League Premier Division after a 2-0 defeat at Metropolitan Police.

The Terrors needed to better Burgess Hill Town’s result to give themselves a shot at survival.

While Town lost 3-2 at Harrow Borough, Tooting’s drop back to the South Division was confirmed due to a worst goal difference.

Tooting only took three points from a possible 36.

Dulwich Hamlet will face Leiston in the Premier Division play-offs.

Hamlet finished second in the table and drew 1-1 with Margate on Saturday. Michael Chambers’ 80th minute goal cancelled out George Essuman’s goal.

Greenwich Borough finished fourth in the South Division and their play-off semi-final will be at home to Corinthian Casuals.

Borough lost 1-0 to Herne Bay.
