Transfer twist as Crystal Palace ‘set sights’ on Celtic striker

Crystal Palace have reportedly turned to Odsonne Edouard after failing to agree a deal for Eddie Nketiah.
Edouard has scored 57 goals in 94 appearances for Celtic since signing from Paris Saint Germain in 2018.
The Athletic are reporting that Palace have been unable to reach an agreement for Nketiah.
The South London club were eyeing up a a deal worth around £10million but Arsenal want £20m for the 22-year-old.
The website adds that the Gunners were willing to reduce their asking price to £15m but the Eagles were reluctant to meet that.
Crystal Palace will now turn their attention to Edouard as they search for a new striker ahead of the transfer window closing.
Edouard has been capped by France at U17, U18, U19 and U21 level.
