‘We’re relying on one man at the moment’ – Andy Woodman makes Bromley admission after Tranmere defeat

Andy Woodman says his Bromley squad are far too reliant on Michael Cheek after their 2-1 defeat at home to Tranmere on Saturday.

The Ravens had 25 efforts during the game – eight of which were on target – but only found the back of the net in the 96th minute through Louis Dennis.

Danny Imray, Ben Thompson and Idris Odutayo all went close to giving the South Londoners the lead.

Bromley are now winless in their last nine League Two outings.

Cheek has netted six times this season but was forced off in the 55th minute through injury.

Asked about the missed chances, Woodman said: “Confidence? Maybe.

“You have to put your chances away. Sooner or later, someone is going to be on the back of us putting the ball in the back of the net, I hope.

“It’s disappointing.

“We’re relying on one man at the moment – other boys have to take responsibility.”
