‘You never get to tickle their belly’ – Swansea boss previews Millwall clash

Swansea boss Luke Williams has praised Neil Harris for his Millwall side’s ability to do the fundamentals well.

The Lions are one place above the Welsh side in the Championship table.

However, Swansea are the lowest scorers in the second tier and have only found the back of the net eight times.

Casper de Norre’s first goal saw the Lions win 1-0 at Swansea in the final game of the 2023-24 season.

“It’s Millwall, so it will be very tough,” said Williams.

“They will be very organised and direct. They won’t switch off for a moment.

“They will look to hurt us and be really bright around second balls.

“The things that are fundamental they will do very well – Neil’s a very experienced manager who gets his message across to the players brilliantly.

“You never get to tickle their belly.”
