Trialist Rohan Ince set to feature for Charlton against Brighton on Tuesday
Trialist Rohan Ince is set to feature for Charlton Athletic when they take on his former club Brighton on Tuesday evening.
The 25-year-old free agent has been training with Lee Bowyer’s side this week and is set to get a chance to prove himself against the Premier League outfit at The Valley.
Addicks boss Lee Bowyer hopes that the former Chelsea youngster, who spent last season on-loan at Bury from the Seagulls, can be coached back to the levels he is capable of if he does sign for the South Londoners.
“He’s a good player,” explained Bowyer.
“He was at Brighton. I don’t know what’s happened to him since then, he’s gone downhill if you like. But you can see why everybody did rate him so highly. If he was to come, I think me and [assistant manager Johnnie Jackson] will definitely do our best to get him back to where he was, if not better.
“He’ll have 45 on Tuesday. Him and (Darren) Pratley will have 45 have because they’re both so far behind everyone – three weeks behind everyone. But they both look good together in training today. I took six of them this morning before coming here. They look good. We’ll see what happens.”
