Owami Davies disappearance: Third man arrested on suspicion of murder

A third man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the disappearance of 24-year-old student nurse Owami Davies.

A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder yesterday at an address in South Croydon and remains in custody.

On Monday, two men, aged 27 and 23, were arrested in the Croydon area in connection with the investigation.

They were taken to a South London police station where they remain in custody.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police are currently at a property in Derby Road, West Croydon as part of their investigation into Owami’s disappearance.

Owami, who is from Grays in Essex, left her family home on July 4 and was last seen at around midnight in Derby Road on Thursday, July 7.

Owami’s family are being kept updated about the progress of the investigation. The Met said the case remains a missing person investigation and its priority is finding Owami.

Any witnesses or anyone with any information is asked to call police on 101, quoting reference 22MIS025307.
