Crystal Palace winger linked with Hull loan move

Crystal Palace winger Malcolm Ebiowei has been linked with a loan move with Championship strugglers Hull City, according to The Sun.

The move would see Ebiowei link up with Hull boss Liam Rosenior, who was his assistant manager at Derby County last season as they were regelated to League One.

Ebiowei featured 16 times under Wayne Rooney and Rosenior for the Rams.

He joined Palace on a five-year deal over the summer after his contract at Pride Park expired.

The 19-year-old has only made five appearances under Patrick Vieira this season, all from the bench.

Vieira brought Ebiowei on for the final 12 minutes of Saturday’s 1-0 loss at Nottingham Forest.

It’s reported that Palace will only sanction Ebiowei’s move to the MKM Stadium in January if they can bring in an attacking replacement.

Hull are one point above the Championship drop zone and have only won one of their last five outings in the league.

Palace boss Vieira recently said:

“Malcolm is a young player who will keep working and needs to be more consistent in his training to allow him to play a little bit more.

“He still needs to develop himself to understand what you need to play Premier League football.

“In the break, we will sit down with Malcolm and the people around [him] to decide what he needs next to step forward to keep developing himself.”
