‘It feels great to be back’ – Charlton Athletic defender reacts to making loan return to National League Bromley

Charlton Athletic defender Deji Elerewe has joined Bromley on loan.

The 20-year-old centre-back had a spell with the National League side last season, joining in March, and helped them reach the play-offs.

Elerewe has joined Andy Woodman’s side until the start of January.

“It feels great to be back,” he told Bromley’s official website. “I’ve been chatting with Andy for the last three or four months. I told him I wanted to come back to Bromley – that I really like being here and if I wasn’t going to play at Charlton I would come back here.

“Bromley felt like a family to me, last time I was here.

“Bromley have been doing really well this season, got a really good squad – and it stands us in really good stead to get out of the division.

“My goal is to play as many games as possible and do as much as I can for the team.”
