Harry Redknapp booked in to headline South London business event

For the third year running, libraries in Bromley, Greenwich and Wandsworth are laying on a programme of events for Business Start-Up Week designed to help entrepreneurs get their ‘big idea’ off the ground.

Highlights include a workshop with Bromley-based power couple Johnny and Pauline Preston, founders of ethical skincare brand Dr Pawpaw, while in Woolwich, ex-football manager, Harry Redknapp will be sharing his ideas on making it to the top – and staying there.

All events are free and take place from June 10-16. Workshops take place in-person or online.

Bromley Central Library will feature talks about, selling your products in shops and online, marketing on a shoestring and how to write a business plan and secure funding.

Greenwich Centre Library will stage the Greenwich Business Day on June 11 and Putney Library will host a celebration of women in business on June 12.

Woolwich Town Hall will host the conversation with Mr Redknapp on June 11, while York Gardens Library, Wandsworth, will showcase the psychology of pricing.

Full the full programme and to reserve places at events, please log on here.  Because the Harry Redknapp event is likely to be very popular, anyone wishing to attend will need to contact startup@gll.org
