Four not guilty of killing man who fell from 3rd floor flat in Camden

A jury has returned not guilty verdicts to manslaughter charges relating to the death of a man who fell from a third-floor flat in Camden.

Sheiku Adams, a 49-year-old father-of-one from Camden died following an incident at his home on Thursday, October 25 last year.

Police attended after a call from a neighbour just after 9pm, following reports suggesting a man had fallen from the block in Denyer House, Highgate Road.

The fall caused multiple injuries to Mr Adams, who was rushed to St Mary’s hospital by the London Ambulance Service, where he later died.

His wife, aged 45, and his teenage daughter, were also present in the flat at the time of the incident.

Jamie Cohen, 34, of no fixed address, and three others from Wolverhampton Neil Allen, 26, of Fordhouse Road, Nicola Green, 32 of Oxley Moor Road, and Stephanie Haughton, 35 of Leslie Road, were identified through the course of an investigation by the Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command.

The four were arrested and charged with manslaughter, aggravated burglary and burglary in November 2018. Cohen and Haughton were found guilty of burglary.

Allen had pleaded guilty to aggravated burglary in April and all three have been remanded for sentencing at the Old Bailey on Wednesday, July, 10. Ms Green was found not guilty on all counts.

All four were found not guilty of manslaughter.
