Boy of 15 ‘not in danger’ after daytime stabbing at Sloane Square Tube station

A 15-year-old boy stabbed at Sloane Square Tube station was taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.

The station was closed following the incident, which happened shortly before 3.20pm yesterday, and did not reopen until after 8pm.

An ambulance crew and an air ambulance from the London Ambulance Service attended.

The teen was treated at the scene before being taken to a major trauma centre.

No arrests have been made following the incident.

Pictures from the scene showed the area taped off by police, including outside of the station near the bike racks.

Nearby Basil Street and Cadogan Place were also closed off as police investigated.

A spokesman for the Met said: “Police were called at 3.27pm on Monday to reports of a stabbing in Lower Sloane Street, Sloane Square.

“Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the police on 101 quoting CAD 4534/07OCT.

“Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111 or visit crimestoppers-uk.org.”
