Influencer Olivia Purvis, who has 184k Instagram followers, launches new book at Bromley’s Glades shopping centre

Visitors to The Glades shopping centre in Bromley were able to enjoy a special guest appearance by a top influencer at its Oliver Bonas store in celebration of a new book launch.

Bromley-based fashion and lifestyle influencer Olivia Purvis, who has an Instagram following of 184k,000, hosted a get-together with her loyal fan base at the store last week to talk about the importance of friendship and female empowerment – the core theme of her writing debut, The Insecure Girl’s Handbook.

A lucky audience of 25 snapped up tickets for an evening of drinks and conversation with Olivia at the Oliver Bonas store, where she was also joined by her best friend to share anecdotes from first loves, loneliness and making new friends.

The event at The Glades was the final stop of Olivia’s tour of the UK with the homeware and fashion store, which saw her and a different guest at each store meeting hundreds of people and discussing a variety of topics from the book, which was released earlier this month.
