Queen Elizabeth Hospital fruit stall made permanent as building work continues
Renovations are fruitful for one stall holder as upgrades continue at a Greenwich hospital.
Hasan Er (pictured) will now be able to sell his fruit outside Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) permanently.
He said: “I am really pleased to say that the works have finally started on the revamp of the fruit stall, and it will be ready to open in two weeks’ time.
“With this permanent structure it will be weatherproofed, and I’ll have a secure location to lock up the fruit at night.
“The additional space means I’ll be able to offer a wider variety of fruit and vegetables and I will soon be selling locally sourced jams and honey, so watch this space.
“I would also like to thank everyone for your continued support and love of the fruit stall.”
The QEH fruit stall is still open for business while the building works are being done from Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.30pm.
