Third man charged with murder of Robert Robinson

A third man will appear in court charged with the murder of 21-year-old Robert Robinson.

Ryan Wedderburn, 18, of Windless Place, Rotherhithe, will appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today charged with murder.

Wedderburn was arrested after attending a South London police station yesterday.

Two other people have appeared in court charged with murder. 

Dalziell Wedderburn, 44, of Windlass Place, Rotherhithe was charged with murder on June 9, and appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court the following day. 

He was remanded in custody and will next appear at the Old Bailey on September 3.

Kirk Harris, 18, of New Cross was charged with murder on Tuesday, and appeared at Bromley Magistrates Court on the same day. He was remanded in custody and will next appear at the Old Bailey on September 3.

A 50-year-old man who was arrested at the scene has been bailed to a date in September.

An investigation was launched after Mr Robinson  was stabbed to death in Carteret Way, Deptford, at around 10.30pm on June 6. He died at the scene.

Enquiries remain ongoing, the Met said.
